By downloading or using MomoCap ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
The app is provided "as is"
MomoCap is a small indie app built by one developer. It is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
License to use the app
You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MomoCap on devices you own or control. If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, your use is governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you obtained the app through Google Play, your use is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Accounts
Using the app requires signing in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your third-party account credentials safe. If you become aware of any unauthorized use, contact us immediately. You can log out at any time from within the app; you can also delete your account and associated data any time from within the app: Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account.
Generation credits
MomoCap's core feature is AI photo styling: you take or pick a photo, choose the styles you like, and AI generates stylized images. Generating images consumes "generation credits":
- When you sign up, we grant you a number of credits so you can try the app for free;
- Each style you generate costs 1 credit, and a single task can generate multiple styles at once;
- Credits deducted for failed processing are automatically returned to your account;
- When you run out of credits, you can buy a quota pack in the app and keep going;
- Other features of the app (browsing, notes, sharing, the card editor and its export, etc.) do not consume credits.
Quota packs and pricing
Quota packs are offered as in-app purchases, processed by the Apple App Store on iOS and by Google Play on Android:
- Quota packs are one-time purchases — not subscriptions, and they never auto-renew;
- Unused credits never expire;
- Quota pack pricing is based on AI API costs. If those costs drop later, we will lower the price accordingly to keep your costs down;
- Exact packs and prices are shown on the in-app purchase sheet and may vary by storefront;
- Purchased credits are tied to your account — just sign in with the same account on a new device to keep using them;
- Your purchase history and usage history are available on the Profile page in the app.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. On iOS, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Once a refund is approved by the store, the credits from that order will be removed from your account.
AI generation service
Generated images are produced automatically by AI models based on the photo you submit and the styles you choose. Results may not match your expectations, and generating from the same photo and style multiple times may yield different results. We make no warranty about generation quality, but credits spent on failed tasks are automatically returned. You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights to the photos you submit, and for deciding how to keep and share your generated images.
Your photos and generated content
You retain all rights to the photos you bring to the app and the images you generate; MomoCap claims no ownership over them. To perform AI generation, the photos you submit are uploaded to our cloud service for processing, and the results are stored under your account — you can delete them at any time from within the app. The app collects anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to improve the service (see the Privacy Policy for details).

Bundled font files are static resources. They do not phone home.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app (except where legally permitted).
- Extract bundled resources (fonts, etc.) and redistribute them outside the app in violation of their respective licenses.
- Upload photos that violate any law, infringe on someone's likeness or intellectual property, or harm others — or use the generation feature to create such content.
- Use scripts, plug-ins, or other automated means to call the generation service in bulk, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the service.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will update the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app. Under the respective app store distribution agreements, neither Apple nor Google is liable either. If you are unhappy with the app, you may stop using it and request a refund from the store you bought from — this is the only compensation available to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is based, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
